Travel info: Your Session fee covers travel within 30 miles of Rochester, Illinois OR Boulder, Illinois. Any location outside of these limits, and up to a 60 mile radius, will be subject to an additional fee of $125.00 as part of the agreement.

Indoor info: To help me ensure we have the best lighting for your photos, you'll need to send me 2 or 3 pics of the desired shooting space. It helps most if you take them during the same time of day we plan to shoot. No need to clean up—I’m just looking at the windows! Think of good photography light like a soft, cloudy day, not a bright spotlight. If you can comfortably read a book anywhere in the room without turning on a lamp, that is perfect photography light🔆

Most sessions are outdoors, so I monitor the forecast closely. If it’s pouring rain or otherwise unfavorable, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost to the next available date. A little light drizzle creates beautiful moody shots and is no reason for us to reschedule ☂️

If there's more than one human involved, expect to interact together 100% of the time...so whatever you need to do there😅 Kids will be kids, I LOVE IT and it makes for authentic photos—no forced smiles needed! We’ll play together and keep it light and fun!

Here is my simple advice for everyone . . .

Coordinate, don’t match.

Dress for the setting and season.

Always keep comfort and confidence in mind.

Avoid logos, neons, or busy patterns.

Well behaved pets are welcome (they’re family too!)—just let me know ahead per location limitations.

I don't utilize props. If you want to bring a sonogram or tchotchke of some sort, be my guest 😀

Minis Sessions: Full payment is due at booking for all Mini Sessions.

For all other Sessions: A non-refundable retainer secures your spot (paid online at booking) for Full, Event or Custom Session types. The balance (less retainer) is due 5 days before your scheduled Session. Retainers are not refundable.

RAW. files are unedited captures straight from the camera and do not represent my final work. They often appear flat and unfinished without professional editing and color grading. My services include both capture and post-production, and the final edited images (.jpg) are the completed work I proudly stand behind.
